Open Safari's Settings with ⌘ and , (comma).
Safari has no simple 'clear cache' button — the option lives in a hidden menu you switch on first.
Steps in text
- Open Safari's Settings with ⌘ and , (comma).
- Click the Advanced tab, then tick 'Show features for web developers'.
- Close Settings. A Develop menu now appears in the menu bar — click it.
- Click Empty Caches.
- Done — the cache is cleared and your history is untouched.
