Turn on formatting marks with the ¶ (Show/Hide) button.
Home tab, Paragraph group — so section breaks become visible.
Steps in text
- Turn on formatting marks with the ¶ (Show/Hide) button.
- Find the double-dotted line labeled 'Section Break'.
- Press Delete to remove it.
- The section break is gone and the sections merge.
